Today, Hannah's first grade class took a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo. Thanks to the generosity of my sweet mother-in-law watching Haley for the day, I got to attend with the class. We had a great day!! The rain we have been having non-stop at home, stayed at home leaving a beautiful sunny day to walk around and enjoy the animals.
And if you know anything about my affinity for birds (or lack there of), I was most impressed with Hannah's bird whispering . . . it stayed on her shoulder and ate the whole food stick!!
What a fun-filled day with amazing animals and fun memories with my precious first grader (soon to be second grader!!)
