Turn it Upside Down

Thanks to Kregel publishing, I was given "The World-Tilting Gospel" by Dan Phillip to read and review. He tackles the topic of impacting today's culture. He some how manages to present a very throughough intensive look in a very approachable way.

On page 112 he says,"The Gospel is a whole-Bible message. The dilemma of man and God's plan for bringing men back into a relationship with Himself, does not begin with John 3:16. It begins with Genesis 1:1, it goes all the way on tot Revelation 22:21, and it never lets up in between."

There are an overwhelming amount of scripture references showing what an incredible amount of research, study and thought he put into this book. He breaks apart many "Christian-ese" thoughts and ideas, lays out very clearly God's eternal plan and challenges the reader to "embrace a Biblical worldview and hold on tight."

Dan Phillips has served as a teacher, pastor, seminar speaker, newspaper columnist and radio talk show host. I particularly appreciated his Bible teaching . . . not particular to one congregation or one pastor or one denomination . . . but the one Bible. Don't expect to read a fluffy feel-good book about faith. He has very funny undertones at times and is an enjoyable reader . . . but this book with cause you to asses what you think . . . and maybe just turn it upside down.

If you want to win a free copy of this book, send me an email or post your name and interest in the comment section and I will contact the winner.
